HPL FEATURES
Until now, sports flooring options that could handle heavy bleachers and equipment meant sacrificing appearance, accepting higher maintenance costs, and sometimes compromising sports performance. That was before Tarkett Sports developed Omnisports HPL. Now you can have an easy-to-clean surface with Class 1 or Class 2 shock absorption and beautiful wood grain patterns, all while withstanding point loads of up to 500 psi. As an alternative to rubber surfaces, Omnisports HPL can turn a merely functional space into an eye-catching court that does not compromise aesthetics.
System Features
1 – Performance Protection: Omnisports’ TopClean xp™ surface treatment provides easy maintenance with no stripping; protection against scratches and easy removal of sole marks; and optimal surface friction for safety.
2 – Compact 2.0mm Surface: Compact 2.0 mm is the Omnisports surface without the cushioned backing. It has multiple PVC layers, a fiberglass mesh, and matching colors and patterns to other Omnisports floors.
3 – Time-Savings Pore Sealer: Omnisports HPL’s base layer has a preapplied pore sealer, which would otherwise be applied on site. This saves installation time and allows uniform adhesion of the surface layer.
4 – High Point Load Protection: Omnisports HPL’s high-density base mat is available in 5 mm, and 7 mm thicknesses. Omnisports HPL’s high-density 5mm base mat provides Class 1 shock absorption, while Omnisports HPL’s high-density 7mm base mat provides Class 2 shock absorption. Both options can withstand point loads as high as 500 psi.

High Moisture Tolerance: Omnisports HPL offers easier installation options with higher moisture tolerances. Using Tarkett Sports’ Tarkolay moisture barrier system, no moisture testing is necessary. Tarkett Sports’ solvent-free Multi-Poxy adhesive offers 98% RH per ASTM F2170.
Toughness with Style: Omnisports HPL can tolerate static and rolling loads as well as any vulcanized rubber surface, up to 500 psi. The difference is that Omnisports HPL does it without sacrificing the look of a hardwood court.
Sports Performance: Omnisports HPL is constructed to withstand high point loads and rolling loads, but at the same time, depending on base mat thickness, it provides Class 1 and Class 2 shock absorption and meets all the requirements of ball rebound, vertical deformation, and surface finish effect outlined in the ASTM F2772 standard.
Easy Maintenance: The embossed surface of Omnisports HPL provides a unique texture that doesn’t trap dirt, reducing the need for cleaning and saving on maintenance costs.
Phthalate-Free Manufacturing: The surface layer of Omnisports HPL (Compact 2.0 mm) is manufactured with phthalate-free technology. The components used to produce Compact 2.0 mm are the same materials approved for food containers and children’s toys that can be placed in the mouth.
Consistent Surface Texture: Unlike some sport vinyl floors, Omnisports has the same embossed surface on both wood grain patterns and solid colors. This means consistent playability and a uniform texture of all material selected, regardless of color.
Comprehensive Warranty Protection: Omnisports is backed by a 25-year product and wear warranty plus a 25-year warranty for moisture tolerance, representing the highest level of coverage in the industry.
INSTALLATION OPTIONS

2.
3.
Multi-Poxy Adhesive: If a full adhesive installation is required, Omnisports Multi-Use can be installed using Tarkett Sports’ solvent-free Multi-Poxy adhesive. With Omnisports, Multi-Poxy can tolerate up to 98% RH per ASTM F2170. Multi-Poxy is not only safer for the health of installers, it has a high resistance to moisture and superior bond strength.
Beyond 50: Omnisports HPL can be installed using Tarkett Sports’ Beybond 50 adhesive. With Omnisports HPL, Beybond 50 can tolerate up to 92% RH per ASTM F2170.
Tarkolay: If conditions require a moisture barrier, Omnisports Multi-Use can be installed with Tarkett Sports’ Tarkolay. This system requires no moisture testing. Tarkolay can help against cracks and joint issues with a subfloor by isolating the flooring system away from the substrate, at the same time removing the potential for vapor pressure to form.
